Tariq Ramadan

Tariq Ramadan is a prominent Swiss-born Muslim academic, philosopher, and author, widely recognized for his work on Islamic thought, interfaith dialogue, and the integration of Muslims in Western societies. Born in 1962 in Geneva, Switzerland, he is the grandson of Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. Ramadan studied philosophy and French literature before earning a Ph.D. in Arabic and Islamic studies from the University of Geneva. He has taught at prestigious institutions including Oxford University, where he served as Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies.
