Paramahansa Yogananda was a pioneering Indian yogi, spiritual teacher, and author who played a key role in introducing yoga and Meditation to the West. Born in 1893 in Gorakhpur, India, Yogananda is best known for his spiritual classic, Autobiography of a Yogi, which has inspired millions worldwide with its profound teachings on self-realization and the unity of all religions.
