Myles Kennedy is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, renowned for his distinctive voice and dynamic performances. Born Myles Richard Bass on November 27, 1969, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was raised in Spokane, Washington. Kennedy's musical journey began in the early 1990s with the jazz band Cosmic Dust and later with Citizen Swing. He gained prominence as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for The Mayfield Four before joining Alter Bridge in 2004, alongside members of Creed. Kennedy also collaborates with Slash in the band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and has released solo albums, including Year of the Tiger (2018), The Ides of March (2021), and The Art of Letting Go (2024) .
