Aurora Aksnes, known mononymously as Aurora, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and producer celebrated for her ethereal voice and emotive performances. Born on June 15, 1996, in Stavanger, Norway, she began her musical journey at the age of six, learning piano and composing songs in her bedroom. Aurora gained international recognition with her debut single, "Runaway," which she wrote at the age of 11 and later released in 2015. This track, along with her debut EP Running with the Wolves, showcased her unique blend of electropop and folk influences, earning her a dedicated global following.
