Wynonna Judd (born May 30, 1964, in Ashland, Kentucky) is an American country music singer and the daughter of fellow country artist Naomi Judd. Together, they formed the duo The Judds, achieving remarkable success in the 1980s with 14 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and multiple Grammy Awards. Following the duo's disbandment in 1991 due to Naomi's health issues, Wynonna launched a solo career, releasing her self-titled debut album in 1992, which produced several chart-topping singles, including "She Is His Only Need," "I Saw the Light," and "No One Else on Earth" .
