Winston Duke is a Trinidadian-American actor celebrated for his compelling performances in both blockbuster and independent films. Born on November 15, 1986, in Argyle, Tobago, Duke moved to Brooklyn, New York, at the age of nine. He pursued his passion for acting by earning a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama in 2013. Duke's breakout role came as M’Baku in Marvel's Black Panther (2018), a performance that showcased his imposing presence and nuanced portrayal of the Jabari tribe leader. He reprised this role in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) .

Beyond his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Duke has demonstrated his versatility in various genres. He starred in Jordan Peele's psychological horror film Us (2019), portraying the dual roles of Gabe Wilson and Abraham, which earned him critical acclaim.
