Trudie Styler

Trudie Styler is a multifaceted British actress, producer, director, and author, widely recognized for her contributions to film, philanthropy, and environmental advocacy. Born in Bromsgrove, England, in 1954, she trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and began her career on stage and British television. Styler later expanded into producing and directing, co-founding the production company Xingu Films, and collaborating with her husband, musician Sting, on numerous creative and humanitarian projects.

As a film producer, Styler has worked on acclaimed independent films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Moon, Still Alice, and American Honey. She made her directorial debut with the 2017 feature Freak Show, which was well received for its bold themes of identity and acceptance. Beyond the screen, she is a passionate advocate for human rights, sustainability, and global health initiatives, co-founding the Rainforest Foundation in 1989 with Sting to support Indigenous communities.
