Sheila Jackson Lee

Sheila Jackson Lee (January 12, 1950 – July 19, 2024) was a distinguished American lawyer and Democratic politician who represented Texas's 18th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 until her passing in 2024. Born in Queens, New York, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
