Sara Cox (born Sara Joanne Cyzer on 13 December 1974 in Bolton, Greater Manchester) is a prominent English broadcaster, writer, and presenter. She began her entertainment journey as a fashion model, which led to her hosting the provocative Channel 4 show The Girlie Show in the mid‑1990s. She later became a household name when she took over BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show (2000–2003), and currently hosts the drivetime show on BBC Radio 2, among other TV projects including The Great Pottery Throw Down and Back in Time for...
