Robert Zoellick

Robert Zoellick is an American author, diplomat, and policy strategist best known for his leadership in international economics and global affairs. Born in Illinois in 1953, he studied at Harvard University and later earned a law degree from Harvard Law School. Over his distinguished career, he served in senior positions such as U.S. Trade Representative, Deputy Secretary of State, and as the 11th President of the World Bank from 2007 to 2012.

As an author, Zoellick is recognized for his influential book America in the World: A History of U.S. Diplomacy and Foreign Policy (2020). In it, he explores the role of the United States in shaping global order and offers lessons from history for future policymakers.
