Ro Khanna

Ro Khanna is an American author, lawyer, and politician who has represented California’s 17th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2017. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976 to Indian immigrant parents, he studied at the University of Chicago and later earned his law degree from Yale Law School. Before his election to Congress, Khanna taught economics at Stanford and worked in the Obama Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
