Rajiv Gandhi

Rajiv Gandhi was an Indian politician who served as the 6th Prime Minister of India from 1984 to 1989. Born on August 20, 1944, in Mumbai, he was the son of Indira Gandhi and the grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister. Rajiv initially pursued a career in aviation before entering politics following the tragic death of his younger brother Sanjay Gandhi.
