Nicole Sullivan is an American actress, comedian, and voice artist celebrated for her versatile performances across television and animation. Born Nicole Julianne Sullivan on April 21, 1970, in Manhattan, New York, she began her career in theater and honed her craft at Northwestern University, majoring in theatre. Sullivan gained prominence as a cast member on the sketch comedy series MADtv (1995–2001) and portrayed Holly Shumpert on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens (2001–2005, 2007) .

Beyond her live-action roles, Sullivan has lent her voice to numerous animated characters. She voiced the villainous Shego in Disney's Kim Possible, Franny Robinson in Meet the Robinsons, and Marlene the Otter in The Penguins of Madagascar.
