Nick Price

Nick Price is a retired Zimbabwean golfer widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1957, Price turned professional in 1977 and quickly became a force in the European Tour and PGA Tour. He achieved international fame in the 1990s, winning three major championships, including the 1992 PGA Championship and two British Opens in 1994 and 1996. Known for his smooth swing and mental toughness, Price became the first player from Zimbabwe to win a major championship, and his success on the course earned him the title of World No. 1 in the World Golf Rankings in 1994.

Throughout his career, Nick Price was known for his consistent performance and his ability to thrive in high-pressure situations. He won over 18 PGA Tour events and accumulated numerous accolades, including 2 Player of the Year awards from the PGA.
