Naga Chaitanya

Naga Chaitanya (born November 23, 1986) is a prominent Indian actor known for his work in Telugu cinema. He hails from the illustrious Akkineni family, being the son of veteran actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and Lakshmi Daggubati. Chaitanya made his acting debut in 2009 with the film Josh, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He gained widespread recognition with his role in Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), which earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu nomination. Over the years, he has starred in several successful films, including 100% Love (2011), Premam (2016), Majili (2019), and Love Story (2021) .

In addition to his acting career, Naga Chaitanya has ventured into entrepreneurship, owning cloud kitchen chains like Shoyu and Scuzi. He is also a celebrity endorser for numerous brands and products. His personal life has garnered significant media attention; he was married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021, and in 2024, he married actress Sobhita Dhulipala .

Naga Chaitanya has shared various insights into his life and career. He once stated, “I want to be known as an actor who can do all kinds of roles.” Reflecting on his journey, he mentioned, “I was 19 or 20 when I was confused whether to take up films as a career. At that juncture, I enrolled in an acting workshop and then eventually realised I was destined to be in films.” He also expressed his perspective on love, saying, “Love is an eternal feeling, and it is nothing wrong if you are in love with someone. I'm always in love, whether it is with my parents, with my friends, or with myself.”
