Michael J. Massimino

Michael J. Massimino (born 1962) is an American astronaut, engineer, and author who became widely known for his work with NASA on the Hubble Space Telescope servicing missions. Born in Hempstead, New York, Massimino had a deep passion for space from a young age, which led him to pursue a career in aerospace engineering and eventually earn a spot in NASA's astronaut program.
