Marcus Allen is a former American football running back, widely regarded as one of the greatest in NFL history. Born on March 26, 1960, in San Diego, California, Allen played 16 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Los Angeles Raiders and later the Kansas City Chiefs. He was drafted 10th overall in the 1982 NFL Draft after a standout college career at the University of Southern California (USC), where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1981.
