Justin Peck is an internationally acclaimed American choreographer, dancer, and director, born in Washington, D.C. in 1987 and raised in San Diego. He began dancing seriously at age 13 after being inspired by a performance of Giselle, eventually training at the prestigious School of American Ballet and joining the New York City Ballet in 2006 +15Encyclopedia Britannica+15Wall Street Journal+15.
Peck became the Resident Choreographer of NYCB in 2014, making history as only the second person to hold the role.
