Joyce Giraud is a multifaceted Puerto Rican actress, model, producer, and philanthropist known for her diverse career in entertainment and her commitment to social causes. Born on April 4, 1975, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, she began modeling at the age of 16 to support her university studies. Giraud holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Work and Special Education from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Giraud gained international recognition by winning the title of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 1998 and finishing as the second runner-up at the Miss Universe 1998 pageant.
