Josie Loren, born Jocelyn Loren Lopez on March 19, 1987, in Miami, Florida, is an American actress and attorney known for her roles in television series such as Make It or Break It and The Mentalist. Raised in a Cuban-American family, she began performing at the age of five, participating in monologue competitions and acting in theater productions. Loren attended the New World School of the Arts in Miami and later pursued higher education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she majored in mass media communication and minored in Spanish.

After high school, Loren moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Kaylie Cruz in the ABC Family series Make It or Break It, which follows a group of elite gymnasts striving to make it to the Olympics. Loren's dedication to her craft extended beyond acting; she underwent rigorous training to authentically depict a gymnast, including participating in a boot camp and working with a trainer to develop strength and agility.

In 2018, Loren married former NFL quarterback Matt Leinart, and the couple has three children. In 2019, she graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, transitioning from acting to a career in law.
