Jonathan Tucker (born May 31, 1982) is an American actor known for his diverse roles in both film and television. Raised in Charlestown, Massachusetts, Tucker began his acting career at a young age, performing in the Boston Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. He later attended the Thacher School in Ojai, California, and was accepted into Columbia University, though he chose to pursue acting instead. Tucker's breakout film role was in The Virgin Suicides (1999), and he has since appeared in notable films such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Hostage (2005), and The Ruins (2008). On television, he starred in series like The Black Donnellys (2007), Parenthood (2011–2013), and Kingdom (2014–2017), showcasing his range from intense dramas to character-driven narratives.
