Jeetendra, born Ravi Kapoor on April 7, 1942, in Amritsar, Punjab, is a legendary Indian actor and film producer known for his energetic dance moves and charming on-screen presence. He entered the film industry in the late 1950s and rose to stardom with the film Farz (1967), where his white shoes and lively performances became his signature style. With a career spanning over four decades, Jeetendra has acted in more than 200 films, becoming one of Bollywood’s most dependable leading men during the 1970s and 1980s.

Popularly referred to as the “Jumping Jack of Bollywood”, Jeetendra carved a niche with his roles in family dramas, romantic comedies, and masala entertainers.
