Jason Kander

Jason Kander is an American politician and veteran known for his service as the Secretary of State of Missouri from 2013 to 2017. Born on May 4, 1981, in Kansas City, Missouri, Kander served in the U.S. Army as an intelligence officer in Afghanistan, an experience that shaped much of his personal and political perspective. After his military service, Kander entered politics, quickly making a name for himself as an advocate for voting rights, transparency, and government reform.
