Huma Qureshi is an Indian actress, author, and producer, celebrated for her versatile roles in Hindi and Tamil cinema. Born on July 28, 1986, in New Delhi, she graduated with a degree in History from Gargi College, University of Delhi. Before entering Bollywood, Huma worked with NGOs and assisted a documentary filmmaker. She made her acting debut in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), earning critical acclaim for her portrayal of Mohsina. Over the years, she has showcased her talent in films like Badlapur, D-Day, Ek Thi Daayan, and Jolly LLB 2 .

Beyond acting, Huma has ventured into writing and producing. In December 2023, she released her debut novel, Zeba: An Accidental Superhero, which blends elements of fantasy and self-discovery. The book has been well-received and is set to feature at the Drukyul Literature and Arts Festival in Bhutan in August 2025 .
