Greg Gianforte (born April 17, 1961) is an American businessman, software engineer, author, and politician. Raised in San Diego, California, he earned both a B.S. and M.S. from Stevens Institute of Technology before becoming a tech entrepreneur. In 1997, in Bozeman, Montana, he co‑founded RightNow Technologies, growing it into a publicly traded company with over a thousand employees before its $1.5 billion acquisition by Oracle Them+15+15BrainyQuote+15.
