Evan Mock

Evan Mock is an American model, actor, and skateboarder, born in 1997 in Waimea Bay, Oahu, Hawaii. He grew up homeschooled by a Filipino mother and an American father who makes surfboard fins, nurturing his early passions for surfing and skating. After relocating to California at age 18 to pursue professional skateboarding, he gained widespread attention when singer Frank Ocean shared a video of him in action .

Mock’s breakthrough into fashion and entertainment came swiftly: he has walked for Louis Vuitton and 1017 Alyx 9SM, launched his own streetwear line Sorry in Advance, and starred as Akeno “Aki” Menzies in HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot (2021–2023)—a role created specifically for him by showrunner Joshua Safran. Beyond the small screen, he’s fronted campaigns for Gucci, Calvin Klein, and most recently GUESS Jeans, cementing his status as a style icon who seamlessly bridges skate culture and high fashion Esquire.
