Ed Case

Ed Case is an American politician and attorney who has served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Hawaii's 1st congressional district since 2019. Born on September 27, 1952, in Hilo, Hawaii, he earned his bachelor's degree from Williams College and his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Case began his political career in the Hawaii State Legislature, where he served as majority leader. He was first elected to Congress in 2002, representing Hawaii's 2nd district, and served until 2007. After a hiatus from elected office, he returned to the House in 2019, succeeding Colleen Hanabusa.
