Desiderius Erasmus

Desiderius Erasmus was a Dutch humanist, scholar, and theologian of the Renaissance period, widely regarded as one of the greatest thinkers of his time. Known for his sharp wit and advocacy of religious reform, Erasmus emphasized education, critical thinking, and the importance of a tolerant and peaceful society.
