Deborah Raney is an American Christian novelist renowned for her compelling contemporary women's fiction. Born in San Antonio, Texas, in 1955, she grew up on a farm in Rice County, Kansas, which inspired her storytelling. Her debut novel, A Vow to Cherish, published in 1996, brought attention to Alzheimer's disease and was later adapted into a film by World Wide Pictures.
