David Oyelowo

David Oyelowo is a British-American actor, producer, and director, renowned for his powerful performances and advocacy for diversity in the entertainment industry. Born on April 1, 1976, in Oxford, England, to Nigerian parents, Oyelowo was raised in both the UK and Nigeria. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and began his career with the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he made history as the first Black actor to portray an English king in a major Shakespeare production.
