Dahyun, born Kim Da-hyun on May 28, 1998, in Seongnam, South Korea, is a prominent South Korean singer, rapper, and actress. She gained early attention in sixth grade when a video of her performing the "eagle dance" at church went viral on YouTube. This led to her recruitment by JYP Entertainment in 2012. Dahyun debuted as a member of the girl group TWICE on October 20, 2015, with the release of their first mini-album, The Story Begins.

As a member of TWICE, Dahyun is known for her energetic performances and charismatic stage presence. In addition to her music career, she has ventured into acting. In 2025, she starred in the Korean remake of the Taiwanese film You Are the Apple of My Eye, portraying the character Sun-ah.
