Craig Robinson (born Craig Phillip Robinson on October 25, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor, comedian, musician, and television personality. Raised on Chicago’s South Side, he initially worked as a music teacher before pursuing comedy and performing at venues like The Second City and on Def Comedy Jam. He gained widespread fame as Darryl Philbin on The Office (2005–2013) and went on to star in hit films and TV shows such as Pineapple Express, Hot Tub Time Machine, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Mr. Robot +15+15+15.

Robinson’s unique blend of musical talent and improvisational humor has defined his multi-faceted career. In addition to acting, he formed the funk-fueled band The Nasty Delicious, blending comedy and music during live performances. He also starred in and executive produced the Peacock series Killing It, further expanding his creative reach.
