Cody Rhodes is an American professional wrestler, promoter, and actor, widely recognized for his contributions to modern professional wrestling. Born in Marietta, Georgia in 1985, he is the son of wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes and the half-brother of wrestler Dustin Rhodes (also known as Goldust). Cody began his career in WWE in the mid-2000s, gaining attention through various personas and tag team successes before stepping away to establish his own path in the industry.

After leaving WWE in 2016, Rhodes wrestled internationally, building his reputation in promotions such as Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He later became one of the founding members and executive vice presidents of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), playing a pivotal role in its launch and early success. In 2022, he made a high-profile return to WWE, continuing to cement his legacy as both a performer and a creative force in wrestling.

Known for his driven and inspiring mindset, Cody Rhodes has said, "Do the work — because no one else will do it for you." He has also remarked, "Legacy isn’t about where you come from, it’s about what you do with what you have." These quotes reflect his belief in hard work, perseverance, and forging one’s own identity despite the weight of expectation.
