Ciara Princess Harris, known professionally as Ciara, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress who has significantly influenced the R&B and pop music scenes. Born on October 25, 1985, in Austin, Texas, she spent her childhood moving across various U.S. military bases due to her father's service. Settling in Atlanta, Georgia, she pursued her passion for music, joining the girl group Hearsay before embarking on a solo career. Her debut album, Goodies (2004), produced the chart-topping single "Goodies," propelling her into stardom.
Throughout her career, Ciara has released several successful albums, including Ciara: The Evolution (2006), Fantasy Ride (2009), Basic Instinct (2010), Jackie (2015), Beauty Marks (2019), and her latest, CiCi, released in August 2025. Beyond music, she has ventured into acting, appearing in films like All You’ve Got (2006), Mama, I Want to Sing! (2012), and That’s My Boy (2012).
