Cain Velasquez is an American mixed martial artist and professional wrestler, best known for his dominant run in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight division. Born in Salinas, California in 1982 to Mexican immigrant parents, he was a standout collegiate wrestler at Arizona State University before transitioning to MMA.
