Brett Somers, born Audrey Dawn Johnston on July 11, 1924, in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada, was a Canadian-American actress, singer, and game-show personality. She is best known for her role as a panelist on the 1970s television game show "Match Game" and for portraying Blanche Madison on the TV series "The Odd Couple", alongside her real-life husband, actor Jack Klugman. Somers began her career in theater and television, making appearances on shows like "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Battlestar Galactica". Her distinctive style, characterized by large glasses and witty humor, made her a beloved figure in American entertainment.
