Bobbi Kristina Brown (March 4, 1993 – July 26, 2015) was an American reality television personality, singer, and actress, best known as the only child of music icons Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Born in Livingston, New Jersey, she was introduced to the entertainment world early, making appearances with her mother on stage and in interviews. Brown's own career included roles on reality shows like Being Bobby Brown and The Houstons: On Our Own, as well as a guest role on Tyler Perry’s sitcom For Better or Worse. She also contributed vocals to her mother's 1998 song "My Love Is Your Love" and performed duets with her on various occasions .
Despite her early exposure to fame, Brown faced significant personal challenges, including the loss of her mother in 2012. She described their relationship as deeply bonded, stating, “She wasn’t only a mother; she was a best friend” . Following Whitney Houston's death, Bobbi Kristina expressed her intent to honor her mother's legacy by pursuing a career in music and entertainment. She said, “I'm going to carry on the torch, I'm going to carry on her legacy the right way” .
