Bob Casey, Jr.

Bob Casey Jr. is an American attorney and politician who served as the senior United States Senator from Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2025. Born on April 13, 1960, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he is the son of former Governor Bob Casey Sr.. Casey graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and earned his J.D. from the Catholic University of America. Before entering the Senate, he served as Pennsylvania's Auditor General and State Treasurer. In 2006, he defeated incumbent Rick Santorum to win his Senate seat and was re-elected in 2012 and 2018.
