Beau Biden was an American lawyer, politician, and advocate, best known for his work as the Attorney General of Delaware and his commitment to public service. Born on February 3, 1969, in Wilmington, Delaware, Beau was the son of Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States. After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law, Beau began his career as a prosecutor, working to fight child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. He served as the Attorney General of Delaware from 2007 to 2015, focusing on initiatives that helped improve the lives of Delawareans.
In addition to his legal career, Beau Biden served in the Delaware Army National Guard, where he earned the rank of Major and served a tour of duty in Iraq. His service both in the military and in public office earned him respect and admiration across the political spectrum. Tragically, Beau passed away on May 30, 2015, at the age of 46, after a battle with brain cancer, leaving behind a legacy of public service and dedication to his community.
