Aubrey O'Day is an American singer, songwriter, and reality television personality, best known for her role in the girl group Danity Kane, formed during MTV's Making the Band 3 in 2004. Born on February 11, 1984, in San Francisco, California, O'Day began performing at a young age and later earned a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. Her career took off with Danity Kane's success, but she was controversially dismissed from the group in 2008 by Sean "Diddy" Combs, leading to public disputes and a subsequent solo career.
In addition to her music career, O'Day has ventured into acting, modeling, and reality television. She has appeared in Broadway's Hairspray, posed for magazines like Playboy, and participated in reality shows such as Celebrity Big Brother UK and The Masked Singer. Her solo work includes the EP Between Two Evils (2013), and she has been involved in various media projects, showcasing her versatility as an entertainer.
