Ashton Shepherd is a talented American singer‑songwriter, born August 16, 1986, in Coffeeville, Alabama. She began writing songs as early as age five or six and released a self-financed CD at 15. After winning a talent contest in 2006—which earned her an opening slot for Lorrie Morgan—she was signed by MCA Nashville in April 2007 and debuted on the Grand Ole Opry shortly after +15+15+15.
