Ashthon Jones is an American R&B singer and songwriter who gained national attention as a finalist on the tenth season of American Idol. Born on February 27, 1986, in Valdosta, Georgia, and raised in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, she began singing in church at a young age, drawing inspiration from artists like Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, and The Clark Sisters.
After her time on American Idol, Ashthon released her debut single, "Lookout," in 2012. She has since contributed to tracks by artists such as Big K.R.I.T. and Lecrae, and her songwriting efforts have earned her a Grammy Award. In addition to her music career, she has ventured into acting, appearing in the film A Reminder, and has provided voiceovers for animated series.
