Andrew Shue is an American actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, best known for his role as Billy Campbell on the television series Melrose Place (1992–1999). Born on February 20, 1967, in Wilmington, Delaware, Shue attended Dartmouth College, where he was a Regional All-American soccer player. After college, he played professional soccer in Zimbabwe and later in the U.S. before transitioning into acting.
Beyond his acting career, Shue co-founded the social networking website CafeMom in 2006, which became a leading platform for mothers seeking community and support. He also co-founded the nonprofit organization which empowers young people to take action on social issues.
