Born on September 17, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, she rose to international fame with her debut album Not That Kind (2000), featuring the hit single "I'm Outta Love." Despite facing health challenges, including Crohn's disease and two battles with breast cancer, Anastacia has sold over 30 million records worldwide and remains a prominent figure in the music industry .

Beyond her musical achievements, Anastacia is a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness. In 2003, following her first diagnosis, she established the Anastacia Fund, supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Her philanthropic efforts earned her the Humanitarian Award at the 2013 GQ Men of the Year Awards .
