Alan Sugar

Alan Sugar, formally known as Baron Sugar of Clapton, is a renowned British entrepreneur, author, and television personality. Born in 1947 in Hackney, East London, he began his career selling electronics out of a van before founding Amstrad (Alan Michael Sugar Trading) in 1968. Amstrad grew into a major player in consumer electronics during the 1980s, particularly known for affordable personal computers.
