Alan Bean

Alan Bean (1932–2018) was an American astronaut and artist who made history as the fourth person to walk on the moon during the Apollo 12 mission in 1969. Born in Texas, Bean was a naval officer and test pilot before being selected by NASA as part of the Apollo program.
